The charity race «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (hereinafter – the Race) is held to motivate amateur athletes to keep in shape, as well as to raise funds.

50% of the entry fee from registrations with a metal medal and 100% of the entry fee from registrations with an e-medal will be donated to the “Unbroken” charity fund, a project of the National rehabilitation center.

The National Rehabilitation Center “Unbroken” is a unique place where adults and children affected by the war receive comprehensive qualified medical care. These are emergency medical care, reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, and robotic prosthetics. The prostheses are not only fitted but also made here. The Center also deals with the physical, psychological, and psychosocial rehabilitation of injured military personnel and civilians. Assistance to patients is provided free of charge.

The NGO “Run Ukraine” serves as the Race Organizer.

• The Department for the Youth and Sports of the Lviv City Council.

The Race Organizer forms the Organizing Committee from among its staff and invites branch-specific experts from various types of sports.

The Organizing Committee includes

• Lviv City Mayor, Sadovyi A.I. – the Head of the Organizing Committee;
• Race Director, Tretiakov I.O.;
• President of the Athletics Federation for the Lviv region, Svyshch Ya.S.

The Organizing Committee includes

• Race Director, Tretiakov I.O.;
• Director of the Department for the Youth and Sports of the Executive Body of the Kyiv City Council (KSCA), Khan Yu.M.

The participants may be admitted to the Race provided timely registration and payment of the registration fee.

Please, notice!

The 13-year-old participants (for the 5 km course) and the 15-year-old participants (for the 10 km course) are also required to present Parental (legal representative’s) consent for the participation of a minor participant in the races of 5 km and 10 km (Annex 2 or Annex 3 respectively).

All registered participants bear sole responsibility for their health and well-being regarding the race and confirm it by signing a corresponding statement.

The participants choose routes for their races at their own discretion.

The 21 km route (final race track) must include a distance of 21 km or more.

The 10 km route (final race track) must include a distance of 10 km or more.

The Free distance route (final race track) does not require a track.

Races of smaller distances are not taken into account.

Participants may be admitted to the Race provided proper and timely registration.

Registration only is possible online on the organizer’s website https://lvivhalfmarathon.org/ 

Online registration of participants for the charity race «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (online) is open from July 11, 2023, through September 03, 2023 (provided free slots are available).

The Race Organizer reserves the right to suspend or close registration without warning upon reaching the limit of participants.

A participant is registered once the application is filled in and the registration fee is paid.

The registration fee paid by a participant is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to if a participant is unable to participate in the Race, cannot finish the course of choice, cannot finish the course within the set time limit, or if the participant is disqualified or the Race is canceled due to the unexpected consequences of COVID-19 pandemic or force majeure circumstances.

A participant’s registration is annulled if the participant provides the wrong information upon registration. If the registration is annulled, the registration fee is not refunded.

A paid registration may not be canceled, and the entry fee may not be refunded.

The entry fee for the course «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (online with a metal medal) 21 km is 890 UAH.

The entry fee for the course «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (online with a metal medal) 10 km is 890 UAH.

The entry fee for the course «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (online with a metal medal) Free distance is 890 UAH.

The entry fee for the course «Day 557: Lviv Unbroken Half Marathon 2023» (online with an e-medal) Free distance is 450 UAH.

The entry fee does not include the bank transfer fee.

The race participants pay the entry fee using an electronic payment system on the organizer’s website: https://runukraine.org

The starter pack of a participant on the courses 21 km, 10 km, and Free distance with a medal includes:

• digital race bib number with a participant’s name
• finisher medal (mailed to the participant within one month after the final date of the race provided the participant finishes the distance on the days of the event).
• digital participant’s diploma (available in the personal profile)
• medal delivery within Ukraine using the Nova Poshta services

The starter pack of a participant on the course Free distance with an e-medal includes:

• digital race bib number with a participant’s name
• finisher’s e-medal (uploaded to the participant’s personal profile within three days after the date of the race provided the participant finishes the race on the dates of the event and submits confirmation information through the Strava app (automatically if the account is specified at registration) or by sending an email to [email protected] with a screenshot of the race track) .
• digital participant’s diploma (available in the personal profile)

A participant may be awarded a medal provided they send an email to  [email protected] with a link or a screenshot of their race track. Letters may be submitted within three calendar days after the last day of the race for the specified course. The dates are provided in paragraph 4.

Medal delivery within Ukraine using the Nova Poshta service is covered by the registration fee.

International delivery costs 500 UAH.

Winners are not determined. No award ceremony.
