Please, notice! On October 28-29 some streets in Lviv will be closed for traffic due to the running event GRAND PRIX LVIV HALF MARATHON 2017
On October 29 Lviv will host the second international Lviv half marathon GRAND PRIX LVIV HALF MARATHON 2017. Due to the annual even, some streets of the city will be partially closed for traffic on the eve and on the day of the event. Closing streets for traffic is one of the requirements for large-scale running events. This way about 2,100 participants, including children, will be guaranteed safety on the course track. The organizer of Lviv half marathon, Run Ukraine, recommends drivers to plan their routes ahead of time and plan an alternative route taking it into consideration.
October 28
Preparations will take place on 16-28 Svobody Avenue, that’s why the street will be closed for traffic from 07:00 a.m. until 11 p.m. of the following day.
October 29
The streets will be closed for traffic according to the following schedule:
Svobody avenue – from 08:30 till 14:40;
Doroshenka street – from 08:30 till 14:40;
Shashkevycha Square – from 09:00 till 10:00 and from 12:10 till 12:20;
Bandery street – from 8:30 – 12:50;
Kopernyka street – from 8:30 – 14:40;
Mitskevycha Square – from 08:30 till 14:40;
Halytska Square – from 08:30 till 14:40;
Soborna Square – from 08:30 till 14:40;
Pekarska street – from 09:00 till 13:00;
Mechnykova street – from 09:00 till 13:00;
Levytskoho street – from 9:00 – 13:20;
Vakhnianyna street – from 9:00 – 13:10;
Pohulianka street – from 9:00 – 13:10;
