Lviv Half Marathon, which has been taking place in the heart of Western Ukraine since 2016 and was interrupted by the full-scale invasion, returns to the streets of Lviv! On September 3, 2023, Ukrainian professional and amateur athletes will once again hit the paved streets of the beautiful old city.

The Half Marathon will take place as a city race, with the starting arch set up by the Opera Theatre and the route mapped through the unbroken city of Lviv. Favbet company is the general partner of the race.
“The runners starting their race on September 3 will do it on the 557th day of the full-scale war. It will be the 557th day of the new reality, the Unbroken reality, — Ivan Tretiakov, the organizational director of Run Ukraine, said. — On September 3, in the streets of Lviv, you will see people who were offered to give in the first hours of the invasion. Ukrainians were expected to fall in 72 hours, yet they kept running until day 557 and will keep running until the finish line. Until our victory”.
Participants will be able to choose the main distance of 21 km or smaller distances (10 km and 5 km), and the youngest participants will be able to compete in the children’s races (registration will open later).
50% to 100% of the profit from purchased registrations (depending on the type of registration) will be transferred to the “Unbroken” charity foundation, which deals with prosthetics and rehabilitation of victims of Russian aggression.
